Hey guys i have been really busy latley and also broke my thumb and ring finger, but they have recovrd now so that is why i havent been posting any blog enteries latley, but from here on out it is a blog entry every day so stay tuned! Well anyway i have alott to clear up, in the fianl game of the bucos and brewers...could the brewers get the sweep with dave bush on the mound..no....CAN WE HELL! we go thrashed against the bucos 8-4 in the fianl game of the series but we still won the series against the pirates on the road :) so a good start to the week it was. Next we headed to the nation's capital to face the Washington Nationals in a four game set, we took a tough loss in the first game thaks to an error by JJ Hardy wich prooved costley as the brewers lost 5-1, all 5 of those runs coming off that 2 out error by jj :( however the Brewers managed to bounce back in the second game with a 5-2 win to even out the series at 1 a piece. The thrid game wasn't the cahrm for the Brewers and it was probobly the toughest loss in the weekfor them lossing 7-6, with the score tied at 6 in the bottom of the 9nth guillenota Mota threw a wild pitch that scored Mo pena as the natonal walke off with the win. In the fianl game the Brewers drew there ace Ben Sheets hoping they could get another solid start from their ace, and well, they did! Ben Sheets, despite giving up a home run in the 1st inning went on to pitch 6 innings and gave up 2 runs, only 1 of those runs earned (1 of the runs was off a ryan braun error) In the top of the 7th, the Milwaukee Brewers were down 2-0 but them tied the game up at 2-2. Brian Shouse who has been solid all year and was solid this game pitched a corless 7th for the Brewers to set up Milwaukee in the top of the 8th, and they didn't dissapoint. Pricne Fielders sac fly gave the Brewers a 3-2 lead going into the bottom of the 8th were...i don't know his name but some nationals player hit a home run with jusssst barley got above the line in the outfield, it was originally ruled a fair ball not a home run, but then after looking at the replay the home run was then granted and the nationals tied the game up at 3-3, then in the top of the 11th the brewers scored on a sac fly and that prooved to be enough as the Brewers would win the game 4-3 in extra innings to split the series with the Nats on the road. So a good start to the week for the Brewers and they can now move into 4th place if the Pirates lose tonight as the Brewrs will travel back home for 3 against atlanta and 3 againt houston and then finally to finish off the 9 game home stand, with a 3 game series against hte D-backs at Miller Park.
